Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive WordPress websites that meet client requirements and industry best practices
- Create concept pages, the scope of work documents, and time estimates
- Create custom themes and plugins to enhance website functionality and user experience
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of website components
- Optimize website performance, including page load speed and mobile responsiveness
- Implement and customize third-party integrations
- Perform website updates, backups, and security enhancements
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure website functionality and compatibility across different browsers and devices
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve website development processes
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a WordPress Website Designer & Developer
- Ability to clearly communicate with clients via Zoom, email, and Trello boards in English
- Ability to manage junior website developers
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
- Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, and plugins
- Experience with responsive design and mobile optimization
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and implementation
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
Additional Details:
- Location: Full-time position (40 hours/week) with a long-term US-based company.
- Off-shore applicants are encouraged to apply. Must have a good and stable internet speed bandwidth and possess their technical equipment.
- Working Hours: 8 am - 5 pm CDT. Mon - Fri.
